Consulting

with Purpose

PHILOSOPHY

Growing up, Clay Beccue, the Founder of Presidio Finacial Advisors experienced financial ups and downs.  Some years were more trying than others.  This experience taught him how meaningful financial security is, and how short-term decisions significantly impact the long term. This became the reason why he started Presidio Financial Advisors.

EXPERIENCE

Clay worked at both big and small financial companies and served a variety of clients, including individuals, small businesses, and large corporations.  His roles have ranged in scope and focus, but all have contributed to growing a wider knowledge base, enabling him to better serve his clients in many areas. In every role, he has enjoyed getting to know people, sharing his knowledge of investments and financial markets, and acting as a sounding board.

EXPERTISE

After graduating from Holy Cross in 2006 with a degree in Economics, Clay felt maintaining a high level of knowledge was equally important to maintaining a high level of ethics. Therefore he pursued and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation to provide the highest quality of expertise for his clients.

COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY

Clay believes in consulting with a purpose and therefore is part of financial literacy programs at UCSB and SBCC that teach financial principles to help prepare students to make wise financial decisions as they graduate.

Financial FAQ's

When clients ask for financial advice, they often voice the following concerns:

  • I don’t understand what my advisor is doing.  When I ask them questions, they act like I am not worth their time.

  • My company is changing our retirement plan and I don’t know what it means.  Can you look at it?

  • I have been trying to invest on my own but don’t know where to start – it’s overwhelming.

  • I inherited some money recently and am not comfortable investing on my own.

  • I don’t have millions, so nobody wants to work with me.

  • Can you take a look at my investments and let me know if I am even on the right track?

  • I am not sure if my advisor is a fiduciary.  Why does that matter?
